Counselling
Compassionate support for individuals, families and carers through every stage of your journey.
The support has been incredible for our whole family.
Warm, kind and reassuring from day one.
A calm, welcoming place when we needed help most.
Every visit has made a real difference to us.
Compassionate care and genuine understanding throughout.
Our counselling sessions are available to any individual, carer or family member that is living with or caring for someone with a palliative condition.
Our qualified counsellors are on hand to listen to anyone who feels they might benefit from a safe, confidential space to talk. Conversations are welcome around any aspect of life (whether related to the diagnosis or not) offering an opportunity to help individuals feel heard and making sure they do not have to face a difficult time alone.
Emotional support
Our team offers a calm and compassionate space to talk through worries, feelings and questions. This may include:
- support for family members and carers
- combating feelings of isolation
- techniques to support mental health & wellbeing
- discussions around financial worries
- space to talk before or after a bereavement
- help understanding grief and loss
Practical guidance and signposting
Alongside emotional support, we can help families understand what support may be available locally. This may include links to other counselling provision, spiritual care, community support, or other organisations that can help with specific needs.
